Materials that work together
Porcelain, stone and glass tile, honed or leathered coping, and planting that softens it all. Every material is chosen to work with the others, so nothing has to fight for attention.
The line where water meets stone, redrawn.
Waterline tile seems like a small decision. It isn’t. It is the line your eye follows every time you look at the pool, where water meets stone, and the coping frames that line and carries it into the deck.
Replacing tired tile and coping is one of the most transformative parts of a remodel. We replace both for pools across Scottsdale, Phoenix, Mesa and the East Valley.

Part of a bigger plan? This work is often combined with other updates. See all our pool remodeling services.

Tile is set to laser-checked elevations. Where water spills over an edge, the tolerance is about 1/16 of an inch across its full length, because water shows every flaw.
On one Scottsdale pool, a hand-set Greek key mosaic wraps the waterline and carries straight up onto the raised spa with no break in the line. Every tile was laid to a layout drawn before work began.
On a recent Paradise Valley remodel, custom leathered travertine wraps the deck and coping as one material, so the pool and the terrace read as one surface.
Every remodel is quoted individually after an on-site evaluation, so we price your pool, not an average.

Sometimes. It depends on the condition of the finish and how the tile meets it. After the evaluation we'll tell you whether doing both together makes more sense for your pool.
Glass, porcelain and natural stone tile, mosaics, and natural-stone coping such as travertine. We help you choose materials that suit the house and work with your deck.
Not always. Coping can often be replaced on its own. When the deck is also tired, replacing both at once lets the materials be chosen together.
